Firefighter I & II = 240 Hours Of Fire Training Plus A 16 Hour
Emergency Vehicle Driving Course
This course consists of classroom and hands-on training covering all aspects of firefighting including live
fire training. Throughout this course, you will learn about engine and ladder company operations, building construction,
fire behavior, fire prevention, sprinkler systems, communications, fire attack, and much more. It will also consist
of a 16 hour Emergency Vehicle Driving Course. This course leads to the highest level of fire certification in the
State of Ohio, meets and exceeds the NFPA 1001 Standards of fire training. The student will also obtain HAZ/MAT training
at the Awareness and Operations level through the Ohio Fire Academy. Upon completion of this course, individuals will
be required to pass all practical testing and successfully pass an on-line test for the State of Ohio, Department of Public
Safety. This test is proctored and administered at our facility. This training is the minimum training to become
a full-time firefighter.

Individuals should be in good physical condition and have a valid Driver's License. Individuals
must be 18 years of age. If 17 years of age, you can not be enrolled in high school.
Tuition includes books and SCBA. (Fire Gear is needed and can be rented from an outside agent. You
may use your own fire gear as long as it meets NFPA Standards. Rental information can be located on our website, click

this course, please fill out the Registration Form below. A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required before the registration
will be accepted. We gladly accept cash, check, or
credit card.
Once the deposit is paid, you will receive
your embroidered shirt, books, and your acceptance letter that contains class information.
Deposit's must be turned in no later than January
6, 2012 - for Spring Course, and August 3, 2012 - for Fall Course.
Accepted registrations are on a first come,
first serve basis. Seats are limited to the first 25 students.
The amount of your deposit will be
deducted from your total balance due.
